Shirley Amanda Oldham Chapman
Brigham City-Our loving wife, mother, grandma, aunt and friend, Shirley Amanda Oldham Chapman, was welcomed home into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and family on March 15, 2019.

She was born on September 30, 1930, to Russell B. Oldham Sr. and Mary Emilie Swensen. Shirley was born in Paradise, Utah. When Shirley was young her family moved to Logan. She graduated from Logan High School in 1948.
Shirley met her sweetheart, George R. Chapman on a blind date. They fell in love and were married on November 9, 1963, in Logan, Utah. They were later sealed in the Brigham City Temple on June 10, 2017, for time and all eternity. They have three children.
Shirley was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a seminary graduate. She served in various callings and spent much of her time in the service of others.
Shirley worked at International Harvester in Denver and then at Thiokol until her first child was born. After that, she worked in her home as a mother and loving wife.
She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens. While she was spending time in her rose garden the neighborhood kids would stop and spend time visiting. She delighted in the friendships she made with them. She enjoyed doing ceramics and visiting and caring for her dear lifelong neighbors. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
