Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 12 Noon at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT.

Viewings will be held on Tuesday, March 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 to 11:40 a.m.

Marilee M. Thornock
PERRY – Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Marilee Maurine Christensen Thornock, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Brigham City Community Hospital with her family at her side.
She was born on June 24, 1939 in Chehalis, Washington, a daughter of John Cyril and Maurine Fowler Christensen.
She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1957 and attended Weber State College.
Marilee married her sweetheart, Bob McKay Thornock on October 16, 1958 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They have been married for 61 years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings in the church.
Marilee loved to go camping, traveling, cooking, sand dune riding and being with her family.
The family would like to thank Willow Glen Care Center and Brigham City Community Hospital and their nurses for their tender loving care to Marilee.
Surviving are her husband, Bob; four children, Lori (Chris) Youngblut; Ken (Machelle) Thornock; Todd Thornock; Jeff Thornock; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two siblings, Kirk Christensen and Shauna Astle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Mark David Thornock, brother, Garth Christensen, one sister Joan Lucas and one half-sister Donna Kasuske.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go to The Primary Children’s Medical Center, PO BOX 413169, Salt Lake City, Utah 84141.
