BOUNTIFUL - Lois Larsen Sargent passed away on Wednesday, 10 October 2018. She was born 10 January 1927 to Austin A. and Nellie Mae Turner Larsen at Mantua, Utah. She spent her childhood there with many loving family members. She attended a small two-room schoolhouse in Mantua, moving on to Box Elder High School in Brigham City. She attended BYU and then served in the Central States Mission. Upon returning home she married Ray LaMont Sargent, 31 January 1952 in the Logan Temple. She was an active and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life, with Christ as her Exemplar. She served in all her callings to the best of her abilities. She was proud of her family and loved them with all of her heart. She served with her beloved husband in the Salt Lake and St. George Temples, and together they served as Stake Missionaries, and missions in the Family History Department and the Africa Area Office. She is survived by her children, Becky, Nancy and Austin (Elaine) Sargent, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sisters, LaRae Brown and Nelda Hollingsworth. Preceded in death by her husband, twin children, Michael Ray and Michelle Sargent, her parents, brother Turner A. Larsen and sister, Helen L. Carter. In lieu of flowers, suggest donations to the LDS Church Missionary Fund.\nGraveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Mantua Cemetery in Mantua, Utah.
