Brigham City- Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Laurie Ann Crozier Lopez, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 11, 2019.\nShe was born on April 29, 1962 to Vernon and Mary Laura Hadley Crozier. Laurie was raised in Brigham City. She attended Box Elder High School.\nLaurie married Mike Wharton in 1980. To this union was born, Jory John and ChasityJo Wharton. They were later divorced. Laurie then married, Chris Bennet, he proceeded her in death. Laurie married Ronald Lopez in 1989. \nLaurie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and went through the temple in the early 1990's.\nLaurie loved to make things out of plastic canvas, playing games, and toll painting. She loved, loved collecting bears and had a very large collection. Above all she loved spending time with her family. \nLaurie is preceded in death by her parents; Chris Bennett; son, Jory John Wharton.\nShe is survived by her daughter, ChasityJo (Shane) Abel; grandsons, Tristan Jory, Trenton John, and Trevor Jeff Abel; brother, Jeff (Kathy) Crozier; husband, Ronald Lopez; uncle, Lonnie (Susan) Crozier; aunt; Shelley Crozier; and her nieces and nephews.\nA viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham, from 10:00-11:30 am.
