Our beloved Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend, Kathie Swenson May, age 64, of Brigham City, UT passed away on November 3, 2018, at the Ogden Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Kathie was born on August 3, 1954 in Alton, Illinois to Ivan and Barbara Swenson. Her childhood was spent in both California and Utah where she grew up with her 4 sisters. She graduated from San Gorgonio high school in 1972.

Kathie received a surgical technician degree from Steven Henager College. She worked most of her career in the medical field. Kathie loved helping people.

Her greatest joys in life were her four children and nine grandchildren. She loved being able to help watch, and spend time with her grandchildren. Every Christmas, Kathie’s favorite thing to do was gather her grandchildren around to help decorate the Christmas tree and set out her Christmas villages that she had collected over the years, it was an annual grandma tradition.

Kathie was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved being able to attend the temple.

She is survived by her parents Ivan and Barbara Swenson, Sister: Kristie (Chuck) Bond, Sister: Karie Swenson, Sister: Kelie (Dan) Taylor, Sister: Kimberlie Outlaw, Son: Jarod (Becky) Swenson, Son: Jason (Drue) Wiese, Daughter: Jessica Wiese, Son: Jacob (Sheri) Wiese, grandchildren Jordan, Jaycie, Madyson, George, Jensen, Reid, Shelby, Wyatt, and Beckett. and many nephews and nieces.

Memorial Services will be held on Nov 13th 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 650 Anderson Drive, Brigham City, UT 84302
