Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigham City 26th LDS Ward Chapel, 865 South 300 West (South Stake Center), Brigham City, UT. Viewings will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City and on Monday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

Carole Hyden Amey
BRIGHAM CITY – Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Carole Hyden Amey, 76, passed away peacefully at the Brigham City Community Hospital from complications from pneumonia.
Carole was born on August 2, 1941 in Smithfield, Utah, a daughter of Edward and Willa Hansen Hyden. She graduated from North Cache High School.
Carole served an LDS mission to Copenhagen, Denmark from 1962 to 1963. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, she was currently serving a mission at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. She served at the Brigham City LDS Temple in several positions.
She married George William Amey and they were later divorced.
She worked for the State of Utah, where she retired with 31 years of service. She also had volunteered at the Brigham City Chamber of Commerce and Family Support Center in Brigham City.
Surviving is her daughter, RaeLyn (Steve) Schenk of Nibley; four grandchildren, Mathew (Bridget); Jordan (fiancé, Nakia); Kristi and Hailey; one great grandson, Logan; one brother, John (Janet) Hyden of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Peggy (Jed) Speth of Huntsville, Alabama
She was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Ray Hyden.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigham City 26th LDS Ward Chapel (South Stake Center), 865 South 300 West, Brigham City, UT.
