BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend, Caden Houghton Ellertson, 14, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident.\nHe was born on February 10, 2003 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Mark Houghton and Michelle Cochran Ellertson.\nCaden was attending the Box Elder Middle School in Brigham City, Utah. He was participating in the FFA as a Freshman Representative.\nHe was a member of the LDS Church.\nCaden's true love was his dirt bike and riding with his friends, working with small engines, tinkering and fixing the neighbor's lawnmowers and weed eaters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors with his family. Caden had a big heart, willing to help anyone out when needed. His smile would light up the whole room and he always put others before himself.\nCaden will be greatly missed but he is with his best friend and cousin, Wyatt. \nSurviving are his parents, Mark and Michelle Ellertson; two sisters: McKelle (Dalton) Larsen; Alison Ellertson; grandparents: John and Judy Ellertson; Mitch and Carla Cochran; his dogs, Gus and Ike and many aunts, uncles and cousins.\nFuneral Services will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City West Stake Center, 895 North 625 West.\nViewings will be held on Friday, January 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center.\nInterment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.\nEntrusted to Gillies Funeral Chapel, Brigham City, UT 435-723-5236.
